RESOLVED ISSUES

1. You cannot install McAfee Customer Submission
Tool on systems where Outlook 2007 is installed.
The installer fails to identify Outlook 2007
because it has a registry entry different from
    the previous Outlook versions.

    RESOLUTION:
The Outlook prerequisite dependency is removed
from the McAfee Customer Submission Tool
    installer.

You can now install McAfee Customer Submission
Tool on a system where Outlook is not installed.
If you install Outlook later, it loads the
    McAfee Customer Submission Tool plug-in
    automatically.

2. McAfee Customer Submission Tool cannot submit
the email message samples received from
Microsoft Exchange 2007 without the entry
"Microsoft Mail Internet Headers Version 2.0" in
the message headers. This entry is also used to
validate messages from the previous versions of
    the Exchange server.

    RESOLUTION:
Message validation based on the entry "Microsoft
Mail Internet Headers Version 2.0" in the
message header is removed. All other existing
    message validations are retained.

__________________________________________________________
KNOWN ISSUES

1. If you log off from Windows and log on as a
different user, the upgrade process might fail
when upgrading McAfee Customer Submission Tool
    from version 1.0 to 2.2.

2. The following message appears when Outlook
    starts:

"The add-in... could not be installed or loaded.
You may be out of memory, out of system
resources or missing a .DLL file."

This might be caused by registry caching.

    WORKAROUND:
Delete the file EXTEND.DAT from the following
    location:

       C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application
       Settings\Microsoft\Outlook.

3. If you open an email message and submit it as
spam after selecting the automatic deletion
option in McAfee Customer Submission Tool, the
    email message is deleted from your inbox;
however the opened message is retained.

    WORKAROUND:
    Close it manually.

4. The content of emails submitted to McAfee
Quarantine Manager or Secure Content Management
appliance can change and the attachments can be
    lost.

5. Spoofed messages that appear to be sent by the
"System Administrator" cannot be submitted as spam.

6. The McAfee Quarantine Manager and Secure Content
Management settings are lost when you upgrade
    McAfee Customer Submission Tool.

    WORKAROUND:
Reconfigure the settings after the upgrade.
